COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This comprehensive and practical training program provides an in-depth understanding of the Consumer Credit Directive (CCD) and its legal and regulatory impact on the financial sector. Trainer: Dr. Elena Niki Karletidi
Short Bio: The trainer has substantial expertise in consumer and banking law, supported by a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a postgraduate degree in International Commercial Law, significant research activity, and a PhD in Law, with specialization in Company Law, Banking Law, Commercial Law, Consumer Protection Law, and Contract Law. Relevant and substantial professional experience in legal practice, regulatory compliance, and the consumer credit sector is also required, particularly experience in coaching, leading, and guiding teams in specialized banking services areas. In addition, the trainer holds professional certifications (such as ICA–MiCA and Mediation) and possesses professional legal qualification, including membership in the Cyprus Bar Association (CyBar). These qualifications and experience ensure that the trainer is highly knowledgeable and well equipped to deliver comprehensive, practical, and legally robust training in this field.
