Membership
Membership is open to any institution which is legally authorized to operate as a registered bank, whether local or foreign, in Cyprus, and which offers banking services. Other legal entities such as associations or unions, which are non-profit organizations and whose own members are banking institutions, are also eligible to membership.
Participation takes the form of Regular membership or Associate membership. According to the Association’s Constitution, associate membership can be divided into different categories and membership terms and conditions are defined by the Board of Directors. Application for membership is subject to the approval of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the Association.
